The mission of the Chamber of Commerce of Port Orford and North Curry County is to actively and aggressively, support, encourage and promote business and enterprise with respect to, and in harmony with the lifestyles of the area.

Amenities

• Voting Privileges: As a Chamber Member, you are entitled to vote in the yearly elections for Board Members, as well as the yearly awards.
• Quarterly Newsletters: The newsletter will be getting a face lift and expansion for the upcoming year. It will be produced quarterly, rather than monthly, with important updates relayed via email blasts.
• Quarterly Membership Meetings: Every quarter, the Chamber will coordinate speakers to come and talk about important issues. This will also give you an opportunity to network with other businesses in town and be a part of your Chamber and your community.
• Business of the Month: A write-up in the local papers will highlight your business if you are selected. Your business will also be mentioned in the newsletter and you will receive a certificate to display.
• Yearly Award Opportunity: Every year, Chamber Members are invited to vote for awards. You will have an opportunity to be placed on the ballot for Business of the Year.
• Exclusive Advertising Opportunities and Discounts: The Chamber participates in several programs to highlight its members and the Port Orford area. As a member, you will be able to get involved and advertise in magazines and websites, and Premium Members will also enjoy a discount for these services. These opportunities will be sent out via email, so make sure you include an email address on your membership form!
• Website Presence: The Chamber maintains three websites. As a member, you will enjoy inclusion of your business name, address, phone number, and link to your website. As a Premium Member, you will also have the opportunity to include a logo or picture, a description, and have your own login account to update and change your information.
• Mailings and Discounts: The Chamber gets several hundred requests for information a month. As a member, you will be afforded the opportunity to include your brochure or other information in these mailings for a small fee. Premium Members will enjoy a discounted rate for this service.
